              導讀：第十三屆華人化學教授會議定于2017年6月17 - 20日在南通市如東縣召開。本系列會議由Chinese-American Chemistry & Chemical Biology Professors Association (CAPA)發起，旨在化學領域的旅美華人教授與國內化學教授們基于相互之間加強學術交流、增加合作契機、加深彼此友誼而舉辦的一年一度的高層次學術交流會議。本屆會議與“在美華人化學與化學生物學教授協會”合作，由華東師范大學化學與分子工程學院主辦，南通市如東縣承辦。本次會議 還得到多家企業的贊助。

    The 13th Sino-US Chemistry Professors Conference

    第十三屆華人化學教授會議定于2017年6月17 - 20日在南通市如東縣召開。本系列會議由Chinese-American Chemistry & Chemical Biology Professors Association (CAPA)發起，旨在化學領域的旅美華人教授與國內化學教授們基于相互之間加強學術交流、增加合作契機、加深彼此友誼而舉辦的一年一度的高層次學術交流會議。本屆會議與“在美華人化學與化學生物學教授協會”合作，由華東師范大學化學與分子工程學院主辦，南通市如東縣承辦。本次會議 還得到多家企業的贊助。
    本屆會議主題是“化學 — 新興科技和醫藥的靈魂”。主要包括有機化學，化學生物學和藥物化學，自組裝及功能材料，化學工程與工藝等研究領域，就其研究進展、發展趨勢和熱點問題等展開充分交流；同時開設技術轉化、可產業化項目轉讓與洽談等分會場。交流方式包括大會報告、邀請報告、口頭報告和墻報展講。承襲本系列會議的傳統，邀請國內外精英學者與會，交流學術心得、增強合作與交流、共商化學學科發展之路，同時促進當地產業的升級發展，為中國經濟發展做出貢獻。本屆會議報名人數超過200人，會議將安排4個大會報告，70多個分會場報告，20多個墻報以及20多個產業技術發布報告。
    如東位于中國經濟發展最快的地區之一－長江三角洲，是長江三角洲經濟圈北翼重要的副中心城市之一。近些年來，如東先后榮獲“全國百家明星縣”、“全國科技進步先進縣”、“全國綠色能源示范縣”、“國家生態示范縣”、“江蘇省文明城市”、“長三角地區最具投資價值縣（市）”等榮譽稱號，縣域經濟基本競爭力連續12年躋身全國百強縣行列。近年來全面推進新型海港城市、現代旅游城市、生態宜居城市建設，為海內外客商提供投資興業、大展宏圖的廣闊空間，以共同譜寫中國夢的如東篇章。
