    利多卡因是一種局部麻醉藥,又稱賽羅卡因，近年來已經取代普魯卡因，廣泛應用于美容整形手術中進行局部浸潤麻醉，它通過抑制神經細胞膜的鈉離子通道起到阻斷神經興奮與傳導作用。其脂溶性、蛋白結合率均高于普魯卡因，穿透細胞能力強，起效快，作用時間長，作用強度是普魯卡因的4倍。
           臨床應用于浸潤麻醉、硬膜外麻醉、表面麻醉（包括在胸腔鏡檢查或腹腔手術時作黏膜麻醉用）及神經傳導阻滯。為了延長麻醉的時間，減少利多卡因的中毒等副作用，可在麻醉藥中加入腎上腺素。
    利多卡因也可用于治療急性心肌梗死后室性早搏、室性心動過速、于洋地黃類中毒、心臟外科手術及心導管引起的室性心律失常,包括室性早搏、室性心動過速及室顫。其次也用于癲癇持續狀態用其他抗驚厥藥無效者及局部或椎管內麻醉。但對室上性心律失常通常無效。

Lidocaine, also known as Local anesthetic, has replaced Procaine in recent years and is widely used as a local infiltration anesthetic in cosmetic surgery, it blocks nerve excitation and conduction by inhibiting the sodium channel of the nerve cell membrane. Its liposolubility and protein binding rate are higher than that of procaine. It has strong ability of penetrating cells, quick action, Long Action Time and 4 times of action intensity as procaine. Clinical application of infiltration anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, surface anesthesia (including in thoracoscopy or abdominal surgery for mucosal anesthesia) and nerve block. In order to prolong the time of anesthesia and reduce the side effects of Lidocaine poisoning, epinephrine can be added to the anesthetic. Lidocaine is also used to treat ventricular premature beats after acute myocardial infarction, ventricular Tachycardia, Rehmannia poisoning in Yu Yang, cardiac surgery, and ventricular arrhythmias caused by cardiac catheters, these include ventricular premature beats, ventricular Tachycardia, and ventricular fibrillation.
